Aluminum honeycomb core is a lightweight metallic core material made from aluminum foil and expanded into a regular hexagonal cell structure. It offers a high strength-to-weight ratio, good rigidity, dimensional stability, and reliable compression and shear performance for lightweight sandwich structures.
It is commonly used in architectural and cleanroom panels, transportation and marine structures, and other industrial sandwich applications.
